Just watching ssn 11pm bulletin. .did am just say there would only be 1 more signing coz he had to balance the books? or was it just sky twisting words again? they did it this afternoon with jt saying modric was disrespectful. ive seen the interview a couple of times and didn't hear it like that and im not sure am said that either, and journalists don't lie, manipulate or do anything for a story do they? lol seriously though do not think given and nzogbia/varguez are an adequate replacement for what we have sold/released. in my opinion we would still need a left back, quality centre half, creative centre midfield player, left winger and a centre forward. .please tell me sky twisted am's word and the purchases won't end at 2

Mcleish has stated he'll only sign one more player a winger before the start of the season giving youth and frozen out pllayers a chance he'll assess the squad as a whole and then if needed hell add to the squad near the end of the transfer window

Not if sunderland bid and have the bid accepted, N'zogbia has been telling his best mate bramble he favours a move to sunderland. 100% true, has been in the journal newspaper

As a Liverpool fan before you start saying get back to your website bin dipper or anything like that, i come in peace. I think you could've made one of the signing's of the season in Shay Given. I don't know how you felt about Brad Friedal leaving at the time but i suspect that your more then happy how things have turned out. Always had a bit of a soft spot for Villa because of the Irish players they had, McGrath, and two ex reds in Houghton and Staunton. And when they run Utd so close in the title race. Staunton's goal at Old trafford is still one of the best strikes i've seen still to this day. Only post i'll make on here but good luck and great signing in Given. Jonson6

A Response to "I have it on good authority. .". .Get back onto the Birmingham City rumours page. .oh i forgot, naff all happening about the noses signing players cause they're all leaving. .We have until August 31st to purchase players why do we have sign everybody that is supposedly available?? As the manager has said before, as soon as we get somebody the press and fans will know about it

some people need their heads looking at. . SHAY GIVEN Joined manchester city because newcastle got relegated not because he was a money grabber u plank. If he was a money grabber he would have stayed at city wouldn't he?

Didn't he join Man city the season before they got relegated but hey uality signing for Villa so who cares
