Always good to leave villa park after a win which has been too rare in recent years. A very poor first half with Gil and Gana subs giving the extra spark. Perhaps not too big a spark? Someone at the match mentioned apart from the young right back this was a Sherwood starting team. Perhaps more credit where credits due for Remi? His gamble paid off with the 9 changes even though it was a dreadful spectacle first half especially. Fully expect a different team and performance Saturday! Just a note but fair play to the town of Wycham for turning up! They did their team proud. Ax for the meagre 20,000 crowd it is a debt week post Christmas, really freezing and a school night plus was a lowly opposition can't expect too many. VTID.

P. s. one final hail mary of buying a player, what about the young centre forward at oxford united (apologies can't remember his name), they got him on a free from the boing boing baggies, as quick as vardy and i reckon you'd get him cheap if we jumped in now, he's making a name for himself and a few clubs starting to look at him, where the bloody hell are our scouts, what are they doing!

He looks perfect for us, pacey, skilful, and knows where goal is!!
Would work perfect next to a big man, like rudy, or gestede, but alongside ayew would scare defences to death!!

Just a quickie, seems sunderland and big Sam could be persuaded to sell defoe for big money, will they sell to another team in the relegation battle-well we won't know if we don't try, i reckon a nutty amount of 10 million, give them gabby (on loan if nothing else), that quality wingman the "zog", senderos and guzan, and i reckon we might have a chance, others to try and sign, well crouchie said he's looking for regular first team football, even if only on loan, and what about the lad at leicester kramaric on loan, its only a phone call to find out yeah or neah, and finally, euro 2016 round the corner, lots of top clubs around europe (real, juve, barca, ac and inter, etc), have centre forwards itching to play first team football to get into their national teams, pay a kings ransom to loan with option to buy at the end of the season, and finally what about the likes of hernandez at hull, or my own choice, jordan rhodes, failing all that how about the hail mary of calls, SAINT AND GREAVSIE., i reckon they'd do a better job than gabby or our super skipper richards (i'd sell him double quick or trade to get defoe) keep the faith, up the villa!
