Like to see other people's views on who they think has been our best players so far
Kodjia by far
Chester looks solid
Amavi get his form back
Adomha never gives defender's a second
Hutton dare I say it but looks decant
Baker not great with the ball but pretty solid last season done him wonders
Grealish has been alright in patches
There is my 7 players it's our usual back 4 but there doing alright
I think on current form get a couple of decent signings in with these and we will climb that table.

I'd say
Amavi best player, consistent every week
Kodja second, goal scorer but fustrated out wide
Chester third, best defender I've seen at villa for a while but unfortunately part of one that for the start of the season let us down badly
Adomah fourth, like a cart horse up and down running non stop from start to finish but I still think he can offer more
Baker fifth, never going to be a ball playing centre back but has really hit solid form, absolute rock recently just look how much we missed him
Grealish sixth, starting to show his ability more consistently, need to find a position centrally where he can get at defences
Jedinak seventh, kept us in games lately and been crucial but looked out of his depth for a while when he joined.

There much the same Chris other than I have hutton who in fairness I think he gets a raw deal with the fans maybe his biggest down fall is his crossing and finial ball but I think he has been solid as of late and is always an outlet for us
I didn't pit jendinak in for one reason and that's his passing I know he wasn't baught for his ball playing but he gives the ball away to easy so often its frustrating don't get me wrong he puts in a good shift breaking up play and to be fair he has been carrying Westwood and gardener all season which I think will be a fixed come January.

And yea mick I get both sides of the argument, he's made the right back spot his own last 5 or 6 games but I do think sometimes he's out of position too often, getting in a right back in Jan will help push him to be consistent. No matter what tho he always seems to be the most passionate and never gives in!

So I would like to add my input for our January transfer window.

I would bring in Brady, to give us some attacking strength through the middle.

Forestieri attacking down the left and linking up with Amavi.

Vincent Enyeama or Schwarzer in goal.

what formations that mate? because i don't think wed get far with brady and grealish playing as centre mids. I do like the team tho, swap grealish for a centre mid like Will Hughes or Lansbury and play a 442 with

Forestieri is actually an attacking left mid or winger. Wednesday play him as striker. It would be a 4-5-1 essentially, Grealish at no 10, Jedinak playing more defensive and Brady linking up play as a box to box midfielder. We then can attack down both flanks and through the middle. I still have a lot of faith in Grealish if he gets more time and space.

SB likes to play more compact. But unfortunately he has to play players out of position to play a more attacking formation due to the unbalanced team he has inherited.

Maybe my theory is outlandish but by buying only 3 players it strengthens where we are weak and balances the team in my opinion.

I have to say I don't really see what everyone else sees in Brady. That said, I've not seen that much of him

Fair enough villasa I didn't realise about forrestieri, he is quick enough to play on the wing so makes sense. That would work well it fits grealish at 10 which is what we need, can switch him with McCormack aswell as an when needed! Personally I'd either play brady on the left or just switch him for a proper known centre mid.
