personally for me in the next month (jan window) if I was in charge and he's not already done it, I would be on the phone to all the top prem teams asking whos for loan,
Eg players like lescott, milner, dzeko, rodwell, richards and jovetic (not sure if any are injured) from city ain't being used much see if we can get them a few months worth (might cost us some but might help)
or from utd young (boo hiss), anderson, zaha, hernandez.
i think we really need a CB to strengthen up the back when vlaar is out and maybe a strong midfielder or two. bit help up top take weight off bentekes shoulders. may seem as I've spent too much time on footy manager but just my thoughts

Do not know why people are calling for Lambert out and a new center back. Lambert is doing a good job we are mid table I would be happy with that finish at the end of the season. We are restoring the quality of the team and he has us in a better position than last year and the year before that. And a center back! Are u mad! Just because we conceded 3 against one of the best teams in the world doesn't mean we need a new center back. We have one out injuried and one on the verge of coming back Saturday. We have kept more clean sheets so far this year at this point than we have for a long time. We are doing fine and don't need to change anything. Don't worry about Benteke he will be back to his best very soon if Albrighton keeps playing.

Are you serious? We are incredibly lucky we picked up points at the start of the season because we are not getting better in fact we are getting worse. Teams know what benteke does and how we play. To say Manchester United are one of the best teams in the world is crazy because if we beat them we would have been level and we certainly do need a center back because baker is the worst player in the premier league

How were we lucky they were hard fought wins. Teams might know about Benteke but he can still get space and with the right service he will score goals. And United are one of the best teams in the world they might of had a bad start to the season but they will always be up there. One bad season doesn't man united are s**t. Baker is a quality center half he puts his body in where it hurts. And it might of been his fault for one of the goals but he ain't the only one to mess up this season. Also, if u were a true fan u would be supporting the team and supporting Lamberts decisions and not criticising his every move. We ain't in a relegation fight we are a comfortable mid table team and we don't need improving in center back position.

Given hutton bent neeed to go leaves our squad guzan, steer, lowton, herd, vlaar, clarke, okere, baker, luna, bennet, baccuna, albrighton, westwood, gardner, delph, kea, sylla, tonev, nzogbia, helinus, bowrey, agbonlahor, weiman, kozac, benteke.
if the top 3 go I would get in another right back, push herd in to midfeild to compete with sylla, sell and replace kea and bowrey and that would definatley set us up for next summer.
I do not think we are in a bad shape as all are making out to be!

The team didn't collapse because we were missing Vlaar it was because we neede a proper leader. Gabby don't talk to the players that much but Vlaar does. A leader can come from any position doesn't have to be a center back but we need someone to talk.
