Villa v Barnsley
Not sure if the details below are of any interest to you guys, just something I do as a hobby plus.
Our beloved Villa are one of a few teams that seem to make a nonsense of statistics producing some very odd results, Bless em.
We have played Barnsley 20 times since 1903 Winning 14, Drawing 4 and losing 2. Scoring 4 four times and 3 five times, Pretty good stats to be honest.
The finer stats are pointing to a 2-1 maybe 3-1 win too Villa but it won`t be easy, no games are.
This will not be a 0-0 game, and 2 + goals should be scored, I never usually name scorers because it is purely guess work nevertheless it is fun, so I go Hogan1/ 2 and Snoddy 1
Statistics are sometimes turned on their heads and prove to be of no use, but generally they are a very reliable guide as to the outcome of a game, but as I say not 100%.
It took two very late goals by Wolves to beat them.

Sounds good, I’d go Hogan one, Grealish one and Terry one. Read they’ve got quite a few injuries, their two main centre mids are out, one being injured and one being Gardner who can’t play. Should be making these game garuanteed points.

That's my point chris, Villa have a habit of screwing statistics up, but yes I agree, we should be winning this type of game.
