Let's look at the positives, we are unbeaten, the positives end there. We have seen a full season with this slow ineffective build up in our play. Forget claret tinted glasses, we can see this style of play will not get us where we want to be, accept mediocrity and Bruce will not change. We played a very poor side today who were down to ten men, our two wins were very lucky. Accept the status quo and we will go nowhere.

Agree totally mate, we won the same fixture last year 4 – 0.
Bruce will not change, he can`t change, he is stuck, and is fast becoming the pipe and slippers manager of football.
He fixed some cracks we had, and I thank him for that, I fear those cracks will re-appear if we stay with Mr Bruce.

You look at the baggies today,
They have changed to a much more attacking formation and now look a threat going forward,
They get bodies in the box the opposite to villa,
We play in front of the opposition and at a slow pace,
Playing jedi at c/ back is a big mistake and surely bruce can this this is not the way to go.
Next game will tell me if he learns buy this performance,
Think of the wolves game last season when we were brilliant,
We have to play at a quicker pace, and get bodies in the box,
Today was really bad around.

All been said before Bob, nothing new mate, most of us have said it all before.
All of what you have said is down to Bruce, nothing tactical in his thinking on this game or any other for that matter.
Look at the team picked, says it all doe`s it not.

He won't change how come most of us on here can see it and others are blind, i know its only 2 games but bruce is not the man too get us out this league, if he gets us up il get a bruce tatoo on my chest.

On a positive, it is good Kodja has scored however we need those new loan signings in who can create that pace and pressing urgency style we are lacking. McGin another plus but no wonder goal keepers are going for silly money nowadays. Ready made keepers are few and far between it seems. Get behind our young number one and the team on Wednesday, rembember we remain unbeaten and have a better start than last season UTV.

Not conviced with either of our new gk how we let steer go on loan is a joke to go u need a good gk an we haven't got 1, steer looked ok aswell an would of got better, also we need an lb, n bruce let's clarke go out on loan .

Make no mistake the goalie made a big mistake again but not to have beaten a poor team with 10 men for 50 mins is just not good enough,
The number of times we got down the flanks and there is no one in the box is unbelievable,
We looked totally toothless and there goalie had hardly nothing to do,
2 points threw away and on Wednesday we play a good football team and they will rip us apart at the back if we play like today,
Very disappointed villa fan here but the only plus point is that it's only 3rd game in,

We don't look a good side at the moment at all that's the worrying thing for me but we have 7 points, my fear is when we play, brentford, leeds, boro, baggies, forest, there going to make us look silly.

Very true, I think we all would. What we know so far is that the players we are interested in i. e. Snodgrass, Abrahams, Gallagher, Onomah and the Newcastle pair are apparently not available so who are the realistic targets that we are after. We need a LB and Sam McQueen is the name in the frame here. We have let both Mitch Clark and Suliman leave on loan so another CB is a must but apart from Clarke I have seen no one linked since the Aussie after the world cup (probably means Jedi is inked in here) . If we get Handley I think we lose one of our current Def Mids. but Italy transfer window now shut so hopefully Thor is safe. All forward/ wide options going to take some mean negotiations to get so who is next up. I would like Marcus Maddison loan to buy from Peterborough but this link seems to have cooled. Anyone know of any other names linked?

Brucie must think he’s got people coming in, because the amount of U23 he’s let go on loan . Not just U23, but some of our better ones .
