Chrisavfc is obviously a pationate loyal Villa fan, he sees less wrong than Danny WTW and more of us. I genuinely agree with most of what he says I was identical up to five years ago. I am now more critical now, however after fifty years of loyal support I feel the fans have been badly let down and have earned the right to criticize our failures. I hoped Bruce would have been able to lift our spirits and give us something to be proud of unfortunately I strongly believe this is not going to happen.
Tomorrow may well decide on our future path, however teams and managers are going to come to Villa Park and try to silence the fans and get us to turn on the team. I hope we all give Bruce a final chance and we get behind the boys no matter what the outcome so SB can not blame us if it is his final swansong.

Well said mate, i'm not on here to criticise anybody, I think we are all feeling it at the moment to be honest, we just want what's best for our club and we are all full of mixed emotions. Let's get behind the team and hope we can get a good run of results. In regard to our Manager - let's leave it to the good Dr to sort out.

Hopeful, I'm the same as you, I know exactly how bad it is down there at the minute and also want change. I was just pointing out earlier how Danny had turned Bruce saying he shouldn't be judged after 3 games to Bruce saying the fans are at fault for our bad performances. Clearly isn't what he said or implied.

Please consider this. We must not judge SB on the last 3 games but the whole of last season with him in charge. From my seat in the Holte I could see a largely negative formation, with some very pleasing positives. Solo performances by Kodja who scored some special goals to keep us mid table. A maturing Nathan Baker finally looking like fulfilling his potential. The wizard of Oz commanding the midfield once he was somewhere near full fitness. Sadly none of these players are available. NB could be a poor mans Gary Cahill in a couple of seasons? I am not judging SB right now even though his formation, lack of attacking ideas, inability to change things during the 90 mins and most importantly the body language from players. You need a manager in any business to command respect but more importantly for them to believe in what the man is asking them to do.
On the pitch this does not look to be the case at the moment. Ultimately it will probably the players who decide when SB goes.

I commented on what I read ChrisAVFC, I didn't see his press conference, so just to confirm I didn't 'twist' what he said at all. I responded to his latest comment at that time, i'm entitled to my opinion. It's not me repeating the same old crap as you say, otherwise you should be accusing Bruce of exactly the same!

Don't believe everything you read, look for things yourself. You changed Bruce saying it's mental being judged after 3 games, to him "blaming everyone else for his poor management", that isn't even twisting what his said, that's just pure making something up mate, nothing he's said has blamed the fans for anything performance/ result related.

Chrisavfc, its a waste of time trying to explain to these people mate. They especially wtw make it up as they go along. Its like the booing at games, like that is going to instill confidence in the team. I don't know what hymm sheet they are singing from. Three games in and key players out we have to try and grind results out. Whatever they say mate just continue with your support and your posts.

Watch the press conference, as we're stuck with Bruce for the time being it's good to see him with a bit of fight in him unlike after the Cardiff defeat. Hope the response to the last 2 games have shook him into a reaction, as much as most of us don't like his football it's undeniable that 4 promotions from this league is not a fluke, he needs some resilience now and some self confidence that he can come out this rough patch, that he can turn it around, and belief in himself that his not a one trick hoof ball pony. He took the blame all on his shoulders after Cardiff, but did it in a way that made him sound defeated in himself and a wimp, today despite what WTW tries to twist it, he's still taking the blame, but with a bit of fight and a bit of "watch me turn this around", which at the moment is the best thing for us because he isn't getting sacked any time soon, so we need him as motivated as possible so it doesn't turn into a situation where his just waiting for his pay off.

Ridiculous putting pressure on bruce in the first place three games in . Hoping we can get a win but its still going to be a very tough game that could go either way. Will be at the game and it would be nice not to have to listen to the boo boys!
