I don't actually see what's so good about adama I remember Sunderland away last year a couple of decent runs but Jesus the guy couldn't even trap a 10 yard pass to him. I ask you this if he had come from Barnet for 600k an not Barcelona how highly would you all rate him? I'l answer for you, not very highly! Plus with his attitude I'd definitely say goodbye!

Very good point mate, the guy can't control the ball, doesn't track back and often runs the ball either off the pitch or into a few defenders, utter useless.

I just get the sense that the club think Jedinak is a massive coup for the club and a signing which they really wanted! I think this is because they have unveiled him differently and also by doing the Facebook interview! Just something differ me about this!

I actually think we have missed this sort of player sadly since petrov.
He might not be a world beater, a world class player, but this is a team sport, and the team to be successful has to be better than the sum of its parts, as Leicester, (sadly) he 'could' be all we need.
We have a leader at the back.
We have a leader in midfield.
We have a leader in attack.
Last year we didn't have one anywhere near the team, looked what that did for us.
And 4m? What a bargain!

Personally I think we should be doing all we can to get Adama to stay. When fit he would tear every Championship defence apart, assuming the other players pass to him. They didn't in the Rotherham match in the 20 minutes he was on.

The real problem with Adama is that once he has the ball he just doesn't know how to pass. This has been the case in almost all the games he has ever played in.
He needs to take on defences, something he can do with ease, but then look up and make the killer pass into the box as defenders are coming out to cover him. Do that and he's worth every penny he earns.
Against Rotherham he had one run, did the hard work well, but didn't pass and lost the ball. Other players need him to grow up and play for the team not himself. In many ways he is playing now like the young Ronaldo did when he joined United.

The truth is that no one can know yet. We haven't seen enough to know what to believe. If you look at the league table at the moment, Huddersfield are 3rd and Newcastle are 17th- I'm confident that they won't finish in those positions. The Championship is a tough league to call, so I think we'd have to wait until about 10 games in to really know where we'll finish.

Jedinak should go straight into the starting XI, will be interesting to see who his partner in midfield will be.
Alan Brazil knows absolute zip about anything. He is a rent a gob, with no inside knowledge, and spends more time in the pub than he does working.
If he was a journalist with any previous reputation for knowing things before they happen, then i would maybe be inclined to believe. The last piece of 'inside information' he spouted off was something along the lines of.......'i know that the owners of NUFC are speaking to people about a takeover, so expect something to happen soon' (that was about 18 months ago

Just saying about the striker situation, we do need another striker just look at the bench we have no impact striker they are all defenders and midfielders. What if Gestede or McCormack gets injured then we will have to play Ayew as a striker and tbh he will only get 10 maybe 15 as he isn't a goal scorer he's a creative player. Nakhi Wells is a very good shout as he can change the game very quickly as he did against us.
