Mr Aston Villa is at it again on the day villa got relegated I was crying at Old Trafford so what was Mr agbonlahor doing? hey was in a hotel room with two girls and a friend drinking vodka and he was on laughing gas! no he knows laughing gas and drinking is a no-go area especially when you are on a fitness regime!

18 Apr 2016 22:39:57
On a side note.

Gabby is shambolic.
On the psis, again, laughing gas, again.

Forget the fact this is the night we got relegated, forget that the club captain wasn't even in the same city as the team he allegedly supports played, and forget the fact he abused his status as a celebrity to mess around with these hangers on.

Isn't he on a massive fitness regime, as we are at the start of a preseason, and he didn't quite get there.
Oh no, my mistake, four matches left. And he still not fit, not committed, not dedicated, not worthy.

Should have his contract terminated, his pro license cancelled, and an arrest warren issued. (perhaps a little bit over board!!) but these guys morally should walk a high line, be whiter than white, and set an example to the thousands who look up to them, emulate them, and try to be them.

Your an embarrassment, and I hope I never see you in a villa top again.
Your not fit to wear that shirt, in every way possible.
Immature, sulking pre madonna.

18 Apr 2016 23:47:43
Just read the report, no wonder he sold his mansion because can't show his face around the West Midlands let alone visit or play at B6! Utter disgrace and certainly not a villa fan to act in such a disrespectful way towards club and supporters. Disgusting contempt for those that lined his pockets! Good ridence and to think my young lad every season chose your name for his shirt! vTID.

18 Apr 2016 21:59:26
All sounds as if it could be good, only thing that worries me, is the tone of the way King and Bernstein both spoke in their resignation letters . King especially, being a Villa fan should have sounded a bit happier about it all if it was good news . Unless he was just pi------d at loosing his ideal job . let's hope it is some better news . Villa forever.

The chinese deal has been rumoured in the usa to have been on the table since last summer, but old hand shandy randy wanted well over the top and was using the interest of a german investor to pump the price up, and being such a shrewd business man see how that worked out for him., as usual he's dallied and dithered, and as a result we're up the creek of shti without a paddle, i would say this though;there is a rumour of more interest from the far and middle east but the deals on offer are structured, not straight forward, before anyone says i'm jumping on with info already out there, i posted this a while back, i would also say be careful what you wish for, it's rumoured we'll be used to bring in chinese players to europe to blood them, then sell on, we're going to be nothing more than a shell, so i hope (if it is the chinese consortium) we don't get sold-better the devil you know in this case.

{Ed002's Note - You cannot simply bring Chinese players to Europe. You appear to be trying to scaremonger.}

18 Apr 2016 22:01:42
This is one of the daftest most groundless posts I have seen on here.

18 Apr 2016 22:21:21
I say old bean!!!

18 Apr 2016 22:40:45
Very good ed!!

( be our secret!!? )

19 Apr 2016 02:27:58
Re the above post, it is not scare mongering, the chinese have made representation that they wish to be a world force in football and win the world cup in the next 24 years, they have seen what south korea have been doing with their footballers going to german and dutch clubs on the back of sponsoring the teams to sweeten the deal, in portugal a chinese company called ledman have sponsored (effectively bought) a club under the proviso they can send a minimum of 1 player and 3 assistant coaches across each season to intergrate, the portuguese football union had threatened strike action, but big money had the final say, this is not scare mongering but fact, the chinese wish not only to import star players to their own league, but also wish to have them come to europe to learn and play, as for bringing loads over i don't know the ins and outs but this is what they want to do, there is a journo who has researched this and did an article about the chinese looking to invest in scottish football, which i believe they are doing (buying tv rights to show games in china already), as for buying us and bringing chinese players across, as long as they meet the criteria for playing internationals then how this won't happen, i don't see;i'm not saying i want this to happen, i'm just saying what is out there being said in the usa.

{Ed002's Note - The rules for work permits is no longer based on "playing internationals". Someone has been teasing you. Who in the USA is saying that Aston Villa will be used this way?}

Cheers ed for getting back, the deal apparently has been on the table for almost a year, whoever the chap in charge of the consortium is, is meant to be a real no excuses, my way or the highway merchant, they did their due diligence but walked away to look at another deal, whatever happened there i don't know, all i've been told is their back, and my mate (who lives in the states) said from what he'd been told we're better off keeping clear, better the devil you know, as for the chinese players, surprise surprise its linked to merchandising, i believe they have quite a large population who seem to want to gorge themselves on western culture, and it seems football is fast becoming flavour of the month, that's all i knew then (when i posted a while back) and that's all i know now, apart from the middle-eastern interest last season which never panned out, all i know is this guy, whoever he is has only got where he's got because he's as hard as nails with an amazing business acumen, but could he be an owner who sees us with passion and not as a ledger entry, who knows, but me, i hope randy doesn't sell to him.

{Ed002's Note - You are missing the point about Chinese players - you cannot simply ship them in. Merchandising of Aston Villa kit would not benefit Aston Villa but Under Armour who make the kits. Add to taht the Far East is awash with black market kits Aston Villa will not benefit unless they start bootlegging kits and selling them in China.}

19 Apr 2016 15:21:17
Just a quick question Ed002 further to my above post about the chinese rumour, you made a little comment after, so i took the time and courtesy to reply, any reason you haven't put it up or replied?

{Ed002's Note - The only other post I see is this:

Funny how it's coming to the end of the season and there's talk of another take over do you think it's got anything to do with season ticket sales again selling us down the river like we are all mugs?

18 Apr 2016 21:03:49
Nah!
I think something is happening, I think they are further down road than we realise, and they are picking new board/manager.

Or perhaps I need to get a grip!!! Lol

18 Apr 2016 21:06:46
Hope your right Flackie but it's funny how it's the end of the season and these rumours are circulating again.

18 Apr 2016 21:11:00
Good shout Daz. Hope you are wrong but it is a well worn path.

18 Apr 2016 21:21:38
I know mate, but somehow this feels different.

With Moyes openly stating he wants job.
Club making vague leading statement.
New board coming in. And changing quickly, ( if they really fancied their ability and skill, would they quit, and not back themselves to correct things? )
And Lerners silence, I know he is always silent, but after weekend, I expected something.
Finally our chairmans letter, I think there is things between the lines there.

Hope I'm not being stupid.

18 Apr 2016 21:53:54
I understand what your saying Flackie but surley if we was getting new owners then other board members would have left? Plus they resigned and wasn't pushed which also makes me think hope I'm wrong but something smells fishy here.

18 Apr 2016 22:23:42
I think the fact they walked proves my point.
And perhaps the others are wanted? Or may leave in future?

I don't know mate.

More in hope than anger I guess!!

18 Apr 2016 19:39:43
Listening to Stan on talk sport, brilliant.

18 Apr 2016 19:45:59
Me too radio gold!

19 Apr 2016 15:06:39
I can't bear that station I'm afraid. And Collymore gets right on my wick
Anyway, what was he saying that so entertained you?

18 Apr 2016 17:58:31
Who said they saw Moyes leaving VP? The BBC have reported that Moyes wants to manage Villa bit he hasn't been contacted about it at all.

18 apr 2016 17:38:27
ok people does anybody know what is going on at aston villa? are we being sold or are we stuck with lerner.

18 Apr 2016 18:00:38
U hit the nail on the earlier mate. we are the next Portsmouth.

18 Apr 2016 18:09:10
Hollis is apparently in 'extensive negotiations' to sell the club.

18 Apr 2016 17:36:37
King and Bernstein both released statements, both saying the same . Both where taken on to do a job, this they where willingly doing . Now they have been put in a position by whoever, that they can no longer stay. Mervin King states that he has been a fan for 55 years, he says it gives him no pleasure at all to have to resign . This is a man who loves the Villa, the same as us . So something must be very wrong for him to give in like this . Randy wake up! Villa forever.

18 Apr 2016 18:28:53
The one hope I had the only upside to this crisis was the board members in place. Remember the muppets who sat in these positions prior to King and Bernstein? Now they have walked away we are in a far worse position than ever. Waiting for Little to go next. What man of any quality would offer their services to join the AV board now. NONE. Just some yes men or those who have nothing to offer as experienced football people. I truly fear the worst. Owners managers players all come and go but the fans always remain. Loyal and passionate VTID.

18 Apr 2016 17:35:19
Says on the article on sky sports about the resignations that the chairman Steve hollis is in extensive negotiations for the sale of the club!

18 Apr 2016 17:58:06
Club site confirms this! Fingers crossed it goes through.

18 Apr 2016 17:23:37
So our new board is falling apart. there's our show of intent from mr Lerner.

18 Apr 2016 16:59:33
I tell you what this club is a joke we are a laughing stock! the only hope we had was with a new board now they have gone I said that I needed to be convinced as we still have no manager or promise of funds I very much doubt there's a take over just Randy Lerner not investing and asset stripping! i mean why would you buy a season ticket I have had a season ticket for 25 years but what hope have we got now? no manager no board and the players are taking the mick and the thing is they're being blatant about it they're not even trying to hide it! WHAT A SHAME WE ARE GOING TO BE ANOTHER PORTSMOUTH RIP ASTON VILLA PROTESTERS IAM WITH YOU ALL THE WAY!

18 Apr 2016 17:27:11
Confirmed: David Bernstein and Lord King have resigned from the Aston Villa board two days after the club were relegated.

In his resignation letter, Bernstein said the issues at the club were "fundamental" and his position had become "untenable". Bernstein was brought in to review the "football side of the club"

What the hell is going on. Someone needs to come clean with the Supporters as to exactly how big a shambles we are.

18 Apr 2016 16:51:41
Sounds according to rumours, that Randy is playing silly buggers again. Word is Mervin King and David Bernstein have resigned from the board, because lack of contact with him . What else can this man do, to bugger this club up . We can only hope that this is some reporters fantasy . Villa forever.

18 Apr 2016 16:55:04
Ssn have it on their Twitter feed so i'd say it's true. He should be getting us in a place where someone wants to buy us not ruining the clubs image! What players will want to sign for us during such uncertainty.

18 Apr 2016 17:16:41
Just when we thought it couldn't get any worse. Bernstein and King resign. We are officially a complete laughing stock. Can't wait to see what comes next. Potato Head as manager?
