Hopefully we will be getting new owners and getting rid of Randy Lerner. He has made terrible decisions during his time as owner including managerial appointments. If we do have new owners do you think they will want a new manager? If so who do you think would be a good manager? What about Roberto Di Matteo

All depends on whether we do get new owners and if we do, how deep are their pockets
If we did have someone who really was determined to really go for it, I would love Jurgen Klopp.
Good coach, good tactician and a big, big personality. Given backing, he could do something special with us.
(Yes, I know. I'm getting a little head of myself)

Just a little ahead of yourself h. But he is the type of manager we need who will fight for everything and will get the best out of his players.

New owners, yes please! We don't expect to be world beaters, but we expect progression, going backwards since 2010, time for a change. Still can't believe we spent £24 MILLION on Darren Bent!

Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more;
Or close the wall up with our English dead.
In peace there's nothing so becomes a man
As modest stillness and humility:
But when the blast of war blows in our ears,
Then imitate the action of the tiger;
Stiffen the sinews, summon up the blood,
Disguise fair nature with hard-favour'd rage;
Then lend the eye a terrible aspect;
Let pry through the portage of the head
and cry villa for ever

Always knew that Bill Shakespeare was a Villa supporter.
If we could just get this passion onto the pitch via the terraces who knows what could be achieved?

OK you Villans, time to play our part. Prem football is essential if we are to get rid of Scrooge and welcome the Texans to VP. Surely all the scuttle going round now is for real and with the suggested 250m Lambert will at last be able to prove he has what it takes, OR he will be out. I don't see a new owner dumping PL before they see what happens. After many years behind the team, both up & down, I can see a gLimmer of hope for the future. Is the sleeping giant about to rise? There is every possibility that we may have to form a queue for season tickets. Let's roar them on against S, Hampton and open the next chapter with a win to ensure a new owner is watching.

Very Churchillian Old Villan
I like the cut of your jib!

We deserve success. One of the best stadiums in England which generatates probably the best atmosphere deserve to watch high quality players week in week out.

Hi Mendax, you are obviously an educated man. Most think churchill is a dog!

Agree0 Disagree0

Churchill also once said 'one of the greatest lessons in life is to know that even a fool is right sometimes' to which I agree with everything old villan has said!

Does anyone know when Jores Okore is due back from his injury? Could do with his strength and pace at the back for the last few games of the season.

Poss not till next season. Would love to see him a gainst Swans & Tigers to ensure we don't need a win against Spuds.

Agree0 Disagree0

He got injured in September and was out for 9 months which means he'll be back for pre season
