Why is WBFC a better Proposition for Lukkaku than AVFC, Why are non biased pundits tipping Villa for relegation floaters? the answer lies in the present.

Yes we have PL but with 2days to kickoff of 2012/2013EPL season, we have no depth, no Marquee signing, 70% of the same squad, lack of backing by RL, some average buys.

I'm actually optimistic, however we definitely need a Marquee signing i'd say Feghouli, a young promising striker {Konate} a LB {Cresswell}.

And no this is not beyond us nor is it overstretching our finances, have a look what lesser sides around us are doing, the quality of players their bringing in.

We cant stand still nor can we move forward at snails pace if we expect to compete, yes we must be realistic of our current plight but also optimistic of possibilities, the players brought in I like, Vlaar for Captain even Clarke are good options to choose from, but we need more.

Some may say realistically it's a done deal for Brahimi or Phillips, but we need young vibrant power upfront that can actually go past players to play alongside Bent with wingers of equal or better quality & No it wont cost a fortune, my 1st list would cost no more than £13mil plus players still being sold and a few good youngsters like Carruthers, well be more than just fine & that's most villa fans dream of

Not so sure those players are marquee signings. Id say more like adam johnson or defoe.

I would say Vlaar is our marquee signing
and i think he'll prove how good he is out of all the signings he excited me and i think its wait and see on the rest.

We wont sign Defoe, Jones maybe with Hutton going the other way

i saw dimatar berbatov get off at junction 7 of the m6 today could be nothing but strange {Ed007's Note - Isn't that illegal and why would you stand and watch a man getting off unless you are George Michael.}

Villa Park is junction 6 of M6 and Bodymoor is junction 9 M42 but Baggies training ground is junction 7 M6 though!

WBA is actually j1 m5 villa park is closer to j7 m6 than that, just saying!

Yes WBA is j1 M5 but their training ground where all medical resources and equipment is j7 M6 next to Aston Uni sports ground. Just saying! Also all playing and management staff will be at the training grounds as thats where the training happens normally you would think?

Aston villa will only sign loan deals until January. Too many injuries at the moment have put a hold on all signings. January is when PL will really get busy

I'd be happy with that I know our loan quota is empty may be after teams have selected the players for the opening games there will be a clearer picture of who is available
