Darren Bent's contract has a 28m buy out clause so with that beard in mind and knowing Spurs have got to sell 5 players before they can add to their squad this obviously isn't going to happen Bent is happy at Villa and never geled well at spurs the first time but Defoe has been spotted at bodymoor recently so more of defoe coming to vp to partner bent

Enough with the Darren Bent Rumours. .he is NOT moving. He has openly stated this past week that he will not be going anywhere, that he still thinks we are a massive club, and he is tired of moving so much.

Also, at a larger club he will not get playing time, which is what he needs to solidify his England place.

Completely disagree. Sounds like a bitter Sunderland fan to me. We still have lots of quality in the squad and with a few decent additions we could be pushing for big things. Bring in N'zogbia and Parker in my opinion 2 of the best players in the league last year. Downing had a good season last year but seriously were the ones laughing now 20 mil very overrated player could get a better replacement for half that. 80 million for carroll, adam, henderson and downing lol

delfuenso is 2 years younger than sturridge and he is better than what sturridge was like two years ago. Hes been top scorer in the reserve team for villa and is ready to prove a point just like gabby did when o'leary gave him his debut.
