Got to say we have an amazing talent in making poor sides look like world beaters, and before you lot start man u are an average side this season. we can't even string together 2 decent forward passes. albrighton was the only one who looked decent today, benteke what can you say, useless no threat what so ever, he needs to play with the second string for awhile because he contributes nothing at all. if lambert doesn't buy a decent c/half and midfielder he needs to hope someone will buy him a gardening tool, just incase he joins clarke from the baggies.
Totally agree with your point about us making poor sides look like world beaters
Fulham have lost 7 out of 8. The only time they looked like a decent side was against us
In Lambert we trust? I don't think so.
All this nonsense about him constructing some project basted on the Dortmund model is just that. Nonsense
Totally lost for words once more.
We have not got a midfield at all. Back four are just LOST.
Up front we are clueless.
All might sound harsh but I have got to say it as it is.
PL has not got a plan B and never has had.
I was like everyone before the season started very excited and hopeful but sorry not any more.
I would not be surprised at all if we have got a new manager come the start of the new season, if not sooner.
I love our club very much, but let's get real here, WE ARE A POOR SIDE

Can we fully blame PL?
He is not given sufficient funds to buy quality, hence he is hunting in the European leagues.
PL is following instructions from Lerner via Faulkner.
Not only is he handcuffed but he is constantly in the dark, although he denies this point, so he cannot go and do what he wants to do. He took the role of manager of our AVFC believing that he could do the job on a very strict budget.
He massively supports his players, he has no choice, but injuries seem to beset his plans. Before Vlaar was injured the team performed well, an injury and we collapse.
Remember last year around this time when everything went tits up? Well that is where we are again but with a few more points.
Hopefully Vlaar & Ocores will be back soon and improvement will follow but probably the one thing that would help our Aston Villa is for Lerner to sell up and let us have an owner with bottomless pockets as until then we are not going to compete at the top.
Perhaps if PL is able to get that one player that can control on the pitch we will start to look like a football team. And don't say one man can't make the difference. Ask Spuds without Bale, ask Fulham now Berbatrov has decided to perform.
A player with a little bit of real class can be a magician and we need some magic.
I agree with some of what you say but why buy 6 players for 2m each when you could buy 1 good proven player for 10m attacking midfield, and don`t forget Barry was available for a loan, only wages
Midfield is the engine room is it not, if we improve there we will improve at the back and up front.
GIVE HELENIUS A RUN IN THE SIDE
MR LAMBERT, A/M FOR 10 GAMES.
Try something else Gardener for AEK
Villadave
Unbelievable, Fulham spent something like £25m on couple of players, Lamberts budget for season is £12m, get a grip.
If you are trying to say we shouldn't expect to be doing better than Fulham, things are even more depressing than I thought
Who were the these 12 million signings that Fulham made by the way?
For months I have been posting that one good midfield signing could change our season but have been blasted by other posters.
As I posted "ask Spuds about Bale". They have spent heavily but no Bale no goals lots of problems.
If Bale was still there he would have turned a few into the net.
Delph is one of our hopes but he needs the help of an older head to direct the game. Westwood is lightwieght, as is Lowton. The rest in the middle and back are really crap.
Vlaar & Ocores are needed right now, no question.
Incidently Ocores was listed as one of the best buys pre season by a well known reporter. Let us see.
Forgot to add to my last post, I am a great Barry fan and have said so frequently. The father figure needed at B6.
One player where we have the most pressing need (central midfield) would make some difference. But, let's be honest, we are poor all over the pitch
We need 3 to 4 in my opinion
Let us see okore? he's out for the season!
I agree Mendax, 3 or 4 at least.
Midfield is paramount, we have won most of our games bypassing midfield.
We need some control in the middle of the park and pass through sides, and be able to change our pattern without having to bring on subs to achieve this.
