The weekend we have all been dreading is upon us. Will I be sad? Yes will I be upset? Yes will I still support the club I love? Yes no matter what like 99.9% of us fans I will be without doubt VILLA TILL MY LAST DYING BREATH well keep the claret and blue flag flying high so keep ya chins up Villians because in the words of Arnie we'll be back.

15 Apr 2016 18:35:14
Get a grip mate!! 😜

Only joking! I agree! Not looking forward to the new season, but will be there supporting the club, as I've said before, we have to endure these dark days, to fully appreciate the good days.

We are in it together mate.

15 Apr 2016 18:43:58
I'm looking forward to next season. Sure, it's an easier league but we'll be winning a lot more than we're used to and the atmosphere at VP will no doubt be electric.

15 Apr 2016 19:02:03
Lmao Flackie that's what being a football fan is all about eh?

15 Apr 2016 22:40:03
Yes mate!
Onwards and upwards!

{Ed007's Note - Here you go, Flackie. I read this earlier and thought you might appreciate it:

Oh man that's the best thing I have read all season!!

I have sent this to every Leicester fan I know!!!

16 Apr 2016 08:40:45
Utv
Why do you think think it's an easier league??
Personally I think it is a harder league.
Less skill, I agree, but, every team is capable of beating anyone.
Also, we would be the biggest club there, meaning every other club will up their game against us.

I hate to ruin the party here, but we have a wake up call coming next year. And unless we heed it, we really will be facing two relegations in two years.

15 Apr 2016 18:08:26
Nathern Baker anybody?
I actually thought Nathern was the better of him and Clarke
He was a bit rash but was never scared to put his body on the line
He must have had more head injuries per season than the rest of the premiership
He pairing with senderos at the beginning of the 14/ 15 season (lamberts last ) was very good
He is under contract until 2019 I have read
A good shout I think
He knows the league now and along with Gary Gardner there knowledge could be most valuable.

15 Apr 2016 18:35:53
Great shout Baker can out perform Richards and JL then again not setting the bar too high are we.

15 Apr 2016 18:36:49
I hope so mate.
And I agree. Great player.

15 Apr 2016 19:43:50
Deffo think Baker should be in a pairing with Okore (if he stays) He could be Cahill good and at least he's got a spine. How's this for a back 4.?
TAVERNIER OKORE BAKER AMAVI
There could even be a case for Clarke moving into midfield like under Houllier, more suited to the championship than the Prem.
What do you think?

UTV.

On another Saturday eve does anyone think that some of our under 21's deserve a run out in the full side. I know it's in front of the prawn sandwich lot up the M6 but nothing ventured and all that. And don't forget "you will never win anything with kids"

15 Apr 2016 10:06:54
No!
Let the useless prats who got us in this mess, be the eleven on the pitch to be relegated.
They should endure the pain and grief.

15 Apr 2016 10:50:45
Those useless prats won't feel any pain.

15 Apr 2016 11:30:30
True mate!
But the kids shouldn't have to!

15 Apr 2016 12:28:13
Would just like to see a bit of desire and effort and those parts have proved they've nether.

15 Apr 2016 18:17:00
So the first result you want for those young players is one that leads to relegation?
I wish people would stop going on about our young players as if they were some kind of silver bullet to all our ills.

15 Apr 2016 18:33:52
Not as a silver bullet necessarily. Grealish Traore Lyden Green all of these players should be in the squad every week from now until the end of the season. If not now when? Or do we continue with Bacuna Richardson Wastwood and co?

15 Apr 2016 19:20:45
Bacuna Richardson Wastwood they should not where a villa shirt again.

15 Apr 2016 20:37:37
Grealish is as culpable as the rest of them. This was meant to be his big season. He's been a crushing disappointment with as bad an attitude as many you mention.

15 Apr 2016 01:08:30
Does anybody think we should keep agbonlahor next season? And has he done enough for aston villa bar goals against birmingham?

15 Apr 2016 06:16:03
No to both!
All he proves, is that very little dedication, and skill, just a lot of luck, any one can he a professional footballer.

Outrageous, should make an example of him, the only positive that can come from this is that any up and coming player will realise you can't cut corners

14 Apr 2016 23:57:36
Can anyone ever remember a player being booted out of the first team 3/ 4 of the way through a season for being stone overweight? How on earth could a professional sportsman get into that state and for it not to have been noticed and addressed earlier?
It is just another example of the shambles behind the scences at our club. It's embarrassing.

15 Apr 2016 15:58:19
It's pitiful mate.
Makes me cringe how much of a joke we have become

16 Apr 2016 11:22:22
Has he no pride, at all
(That's a rhetorical question)

14 Apr 2016 23:49:51
Well, I ant believe the latest news they reckon Gabby is out of shape. Perhaps they mean for a professional footballer& not a professional shisha pipe smoking idle bugger . The mind boggles, that they have only just realised, what the fans have known for the last couple of years. So much for fitness programs and all the new technology they now have . Obviosly Gabbys wasent working. So much for all those fitness coaches . up the Villa.
