I Don't think Lerner is gona give us any money tbh, I think he has been trying to get some money back over the last few years and he will sell villa in the summer, at least get some loans in with some prem expirience like people from higher clubs that aren't getting games like cleverly, graham, Peter o, Anderson, johnny Evans, people that would come to get games and keep fit. AVFC! Ed any news on signings? {Ed013's Note - No sorry, I don't think there is much money to be honest unless Villa sell Bent}

Leave Lerner alone, he's doing a fine job

Reading don't need a new sick note Bent is not worth anything like £2mil you were ripped off by Sunderland and they are laughing like hell at you

We need a minimum of 18 points to secure safety but with our current squads form where will the points come from
A West Bromwich Albion 1 point
H Newcastle United 1 point
A Everton 0 points
H West Ham United 3 points
A Arsenal 0 points
H Manchester City 0 points
A Reading 3 points
H QPR 1 point
H Liverpool 0 points
A Stoke City 0 points
H Fulham 1 point
A Manchester United 0 point
H Sunderland 1 point
A Norwich City 3 points
H Chelsea 0 points
A Wigan Athletic 0 points

I can only see us getting 14 points unless a decent cb comes in to partner Vlaar and a decent cm comes in
whats everyone else's thoughts anyone think we can get more out of the remaining fixtures

Believable3 Unbelievable1

Wake up you are going down and will be religated by the time you go Man U

Agree7 Disagree4

Can't see you getting 3 points out of any of those games,,,,, face reality,,,, Villa are going down :-)

Agree7 Disagree1

It would be very fitting for Norwich fans if it is the result against us that relegates you....I can't see it happening, as you will probably be down by then.

I wanted palacios who looks as tho is going to QPR for £2.5m an
Moussa sissoko who is supposedly going to Sunderland for £3.5m which would be soul destroying to think we'd missed out on 2 good players at cheap prices, an i'd even had taken Stephen Kelly on a free.

Getting desperate now! PL needs to get to work now, an sign the players we need, not on the last day of jan but before Friday! Sick of losing out on good players because we're slow to react to players who are available.

Fully agree with poster for me why did we sign KEA when we could of got Charlie Adam for 1m more

I'm now finding it increasingly difficult to be optomistic and postive about our chance of survival.

Southampton were poor and other than the dubious penalty and a shot that his the post they showed nothing yet we couldn't beat them !

PL's selection and substitutions are becoming questionable, takes Holman off and puts on Bannan at half time, for me, after Bannan's performance at Bradford he should not have even been in the squad let alone on the field.

Think, infortunately, it's Championship football for the next several seasons unless this changes immediately which, without new high calibre exprienced signings, I can't see happening. So Mr Lerner either back the club, sell the club or be prepared to lose tens of millions of pounds in TV revenue and gate receipts. In view of the lack of transfer activity it appears you can afford to take the loss !

Oh, and let's get rid of Faulkner first, he has presided over the farce that has been the last few years

Dead right bud couldnt have said it better myself. it seems like lambert has been told 2 build a side for the championship.

****PL TIME TO ACT NOW OR YOUR TIME IS UP**

Villa FC cannot afford to wait until the last moments of the transfer window

ASTON VILLA don't need experience (we had that last season?/) we need quality/drive & passion for the game.

That's exactly what the dying rumour of Inter's Brazilian Playmaker Coutinho would bring, along side Sissoko plus the return of Vlaar would complete Villa. Can we afford it YES WE CAN. with a net spend of £16.5mill.

We would also have some big earning departures. Others such as Aubameyang should also be targeted even as a loan with a permanant deal offered on survival..NO BRAINER

Believable5 Unbelievable0

Agree but Aubameyang is a target for man you city and real madrid so that's a no brainer
