Bacuna needs to be dropped, period. Smiling all the time. making awful mistakes, and he's spending more time playing with his bloody hair dos than he is on the training pitch.

14 Feb 2016 22:36:08
I've never understood what he brought, Lowton was better than him. Bacuna when bought was seen as a tricky wide player, half the time he can't even make a good pass. He was one heralded as a great free kick taker, he scored 3 maybe?

15 Feb 2016 08:29:14
Never liked when individual players are booed as have seen some talent in the past leave and then set a place alight post villa. Where would you stop with our current lot! Have never liked Bacuna and have never seen any potential. Looks a championship or lower European side player at best. This season Gana had driven me mad with his lack of presence. Started well yesterday for 10mins but then woeful again. Veratout I forget is on the pitch but I'd that because of lack of errors? Never forgot Cowans was on the pitch! What has happened to Gil! Once a great hope of silky movement beating players and baring down on goal! Just count how many times he is now negative going backwards and side ways! His first touch and ball control has no place in the speed of the Prem. Westwood again will not be out of place in the Championship! Worst collective set of players which promised so much in July I have ever seen at villa. At least we knew 86/ 87 lot were very bad and never flattered to deceive. Looking forward to next season. VTID.

I've put my phone in my pocket many times and it's started phoning people. but lescott is the master he can put his phone in his pocket and upload a pic to Twitter! He's the boy!

14 Feb 2016 21:36:20
Let's face it, even a player who claims to be a fan cares more about the money we give him than the shirt he wears.

14 Feb 2016 18:49:34
Just been watching a re-run of the post-match comments from Sky Sports. The most telling one being that usually, when a team gets relegated, other Premier League managers are looking to make offers to a few of the best players. In our case, there isn't one player they could name who another Prem League Manager would even consider making an offer for .

14 Feb 2016 19:33:53
Yeh WW, I saw the same remarks they came from J, Carragher.
And I must say I have to agree, we are a very poor side and anyone thinking we can stay up needs to wake up to be honest.

14 Feb 2016 21:04:42
Going down is one thing; going down with a whimper is quite another.

14 Feb 2016 22:24:09
I am at a loss for words Mendax.
I am done with them all, they are an embarrassment to the shirt, the club, the supporters and should tale a long hard look at themselves.
I would be ruthless and clear them all out and start again.

14 Feb 2016 23:53:49
Who'd take them Dave?
Don't forget also that the geniuses behind the scenes, like Paddy Reilly, who bought this lot are still there (HOW? ) and would no doubt be involved in buying the replacements.

14 Feb 2016 18:25:46
In the words of Remi gabby came off because he has vertigo I was depressed now I'm weeing my self laughing you just can't write this stuff.

14 Feb 2016 21:35:18
You just did

14 Feb 2016 18:17:20
Ok, I accept it. Not only is she singing, she's nearly finished her encore.

14 Feb 2016 20:49:27
The acoustics from Leicester must be great tonight - I can hear her quite clearly over here in Stafford Flackie.

14 Feb 2016 18:05:06
Having travelled the width of the country today, spending well over £150 to watch the match i feel a certain amount of disdain towards both the players and the board. Robot Remi is worse than Lambert. I'm fed up of watching his interviews saying we will fight to the end, today showed the players really don't give a f***. Yes i have sympathy for him (remi) because he has been given no support by those above him. We now have a chairman who primarily sees us as customers, great. An owner who used us as a play thing for which he is no disinterested. Okore supposedly saying he belongs at a champions league club, he did about one good thing all day. Without the fans this club would be nothing. If we are relegated the tickets better be £10 each because i am not going to another match this season.

14 Feb 2016 18:26:57
Feel sorry for you Alex safe journey home pal.

14 Feb 2016 19:42:27
I have uni tomorrow and I have 3 LFC fans in my class so this'll be fun
It's a sad state of affairs when you're ashamed to support your team
None of these players care, Lyden showed more passion than the rest of the team.

14 Feb 2016 21:16:22
Ashamed? Of what?

Be proud. Your a fan, not because we are a success, because we buy the best players to buy trophies.
Your a fan because it's in your blood.
This is our club.
We all love it, bleed for it, feel the pain together, we all hate it a little.
But I'm never ashamed to say I'm a villan.
In fact I'm prouder now than ever, because I'm a fan INSPITE of this.

Fcuk those that laugh, point and mock.
This is a temporary glitch, we will be back, bigger, stronger and more united!

Sometimes you have to experience lows to fully appreciate the highs.

14 Feb 2016 21:32:03
I'm ashamed because a club that I was once proud of has become a laughing stock. Because we have been destroyed year upon year by a single clueless owner. I am a supporter of Aston Villa. But I see no team at Villa Park worthy of walking onto that pitch.

{Ed025's Note - i agree alex..

14 Feb 2016 22:01:41
Well said flackie.

15 Feb 2016 02:43:26
I totally agree with you, alexberb1. I must admit that I was really enthusiastic when Garde was appointed manager of Aston Villa, because his good record at Lyon. But it's all over now, there is no way that Villa will avoid the drop. What we have left are difficult games against Stoke, Everton, Manchester City, Tottenham, Chelsea, Manchester United, Southampton and Arsenal. Shame, because I feel sorry for us Villa fans.

15 Feb 2016 16:07:29
still my team no matter what.

14 Feb 2016 17:56:30

I know how he feels

14 Feb 2016 17:38:27
Today I really hoped we could get something out of a poor LFC side even though I thought a 2 nil defeat was more likely. Not sure anyone can recall such an awful performance. Our players were motionless in all areas of the park. It was like musical statues and only LFC could hear the music. Disgraceful performance from the team and well done to the die hard Holte Enders who sang through the abject last ten minutes. Typical villa to give us a glimmer of 5 points away from safety to only then pull that performance out of the bag. Can't wait for season to end to at least have some renewed hope of a rebuild and clear out of loads of dead wood! VTID.

14 Feb 2016 17:36:00
Villa supporter since 1957. Very upset that this once proud club has been turned into a pantomime over the last few years. What idiot appointed McLeish and then gave Lambert a new 4 year contract after almost taking us down two seasons running. Complete clowns.

14 Feb 2016 17:14:16
In 50+ years of watching Villa, with all the ups and downs . That is the biggest humiliation we have ever had, as a supporter I have never seen such an inept performance . why o why did we sit off them like that, we should have been in their faces . we should have been all over them, in their faces stopping them playing . The whole game was flat, the crowd everything . If we had got at them, it would have lifted the crowd and the game . I certainly wouldent have any problem playing Lydon, in Bacoona, or Westwoods place . Both of them where rubbish, when he came on the kid was certainly up for it . What was wrong with giving Davis 20min, couldent of been any worse than Gabby . can't blame Remi he can only work with what he's got . Bring on Stoke .

14 Feb 2016 16:26:51
Worst home defeat since 1935 over the last 3 seasons all records have been broken I hope your happy you yank (Replace the Y with a W) . Bacuna seen smiling when where 6-0 down I hope beyond all hope I don't see him out NO FIGHT NO SPIRIT NO HOPE Bye Lineker and Co and hi Minehe VTMLDB.

14 Feb 2016 16:19:09
Well that went well. Can't say I wasn't expecting us to lose but that was tragic. But now in the aftermath, not only do we have to suffer the embarrassment of that defeat and what was probably our last glimmer of hope dying, but all the tedious Valentines Day massacre puns as well. Glad Benteke didn't score, I'm not sure I could have taken that on top of everything else.

14 Feb 2016 16:15:20
Doh ray me, the ft lady is getting ready to sing.
What the hell was that today.?
From the start they were giving the ball away.
No fight, no sprit, no balls.
There is no chance of this team even staying in the championship and a drop next season looks likely.
Would you stay if you were Garde? Who will take the poison chalice?
We are all saying it but it has to be said that Lerner has shafted us the supporters.
Our worst home defeat for 83 years, in my lifetime.
Not a single player worthy of the shirt.
R. I. P. my Aston Villa, fu. ed By a useless Yank who promised that he would look after AVFC.
Hang your head in shame Randy Lerner.

14 Feb 2016 15:30:50
Absolute embarrassment.

14 Feb 2016 16:12:32
Deffo gone now, think we should be using this forum to throw a few names of who should stay/ go, who do we get in etc.
Stay:
Bunn
Amavi
Clark
Baker
Westwood (Championship standard)
Gestede
Grealish
Gardner
The rest are either too lightweight, would leave anyway, I'm not picking dream team players to keep, just players that at least try
Buy:
Charlie Adam (passion and last payday)
Gamble on some of the players mentioned on here, the kid from Oxford etc.
Any more suggestions.?

14 Feb 2016 17:04:27
westwood is below championship standard.

14 Feb 2016 17:45:05
I'd keep Adama and Sinclair if we can keep hold of them. Those two on the flanks week in week out would cause damage in the Championship.

14 Feb 2016 21:53:49
They won't be with us next year mate, as regards Westwood, as a squad player, ditto the other players I listed, bring through some of the kids too, think we've got to accept that we're not going to attract the players that we on here want, all we can hope for is that we bounce straight back up, it's on a knife edge that we could end up going the way of Leeds, Portsmouth etc. it's really that bad! Lerner and his muppets/ puppets have destroyed our club, I'd be surprised if Garde is still manager next year, I'd go for Pearson if that's the case, love him or hate him, I'd hump his leg if he got us up at the 1st attempt!

UTV.

14 Feb 2016 15:28:39
I can't do this anymore.

14 Feb 2016 14:34:58
Well I never went to the game today I thought I would watch it on TV. and 20mins gone and I've turned it off its too painful to watch.

14 Feb 2016 09:35:23
i know I shouldn't but i best most of you are thinking it, but a win today and we are 5 points from moving out of the drop zone - dare to dream my beloved claret and blue.

14 Feb 2016 00:31:31
This season is one of the strangest iv ever seen the whole league dosent make sense. Chelsea, Man u playing rubbish, Leicester at the top, everybody beating everybody else . We have got to, do the same as Sunderland did when beating Man U . We have got to get in Liverpools faces, stop them playing, & go at them . They are suspect at the back . The chance once again is their for us to pull points back, these chances are getting less . I still believe we have a chance, not that our board obviously don't think so . We the fans deserve to have a spark of hope, as long as we can . Villa forever.

{Ed007's Note - Get as much pressure on their GK as possible, nobody can be confident of them keeping a clean sheet with Mignolet in goal. I reckon Villa are good for at least a point.}

14 Feb 2016 09:24:04
With playing after all the rest of bottom sides have played at least we know what we have to do today for me as above post we've got to attack Liverpool and get them on back foot from start I'd play a back 3 with Clark, okore and lescott wing backs Richards and cisshoko central mid 3 of bacuna gana vertout with Gil and gabby up top and have a real go at Liverpool only thing I'd keep bacuna off all set piece delivery, pressurise mignolet at every chance he'll drop a clanger.

14 Feb 2016 09:06:32
I agree ed.
But we are in the business of wins are a must!

I would live with losing today, as long as we go out to win!
But their keeper is poor, pepper him with crosses, shots and pressure there is mistakes running through him!
