What a delight today was! Ok RUFC are not up there in the division but none the less it was great to see our confidence mature during the game. Some of the interplay at times was different class to what this division is used to I am sure. At times Ayew was unplayable robbing them and then breaking! Liked Chester and given time can only get better in the team. Bacuna did well and thought Jack G had rediscovered his mojo, needs to keep his feet on the ground and work hard. Rudi clearly is more confident in this division and Ross worked so hard. Really positive day and roll on Huddesfield on Tues VTID.

Ok, now we all know I think Westwood gets a rough ride, but, he was great today.
And my feelings on bacuna are well known, however he was my man of the match today.

I think the formation was spot on today and i know people think we need another striker but i like the 3 we have at the mo they work well together. 2 hardworking midfielders would do me and a right bk! so happy leavin vp roll on tuesday Huddersfield won't be easy they will be on a high but flackie 3 points an i will start talking up our chances!

First of all I know it was only Rotherham but what a result and more importenly what a performance confidence grew through out and i was very impressed with the whole team perforance. What did Everybody think of 6 foot 4 Rudy gestede backflips i thought that was so impressive! we need 28 wins we have 1 so 27 more wins please. I personally hate players who go on strike. They are like spoilt children. Do we really want somebody like this in the squad. A definite no from me. Hopefully get rid of okore lescott Richards an gabby soon an bring in 4 hungry players, a right back a defensive mid a centre mid an 1 more cf.

I've heard lots that Burnley want Westwood for £6m but it's also in the press they want Steven Defour for £6m. I know which one I'd prefer.
I think over the course of the season we'll be ok and finish in a decent position but that's as far as I'll predict as we all know how bad we can be. I hope Amavi stays and with the addition of a RB, creative winger or midfielder that can actually cross a ball and a striker I think we'll be ok. I really hope that we have a busy transfer deadline day as is villa fans have been starved of any action on that day.
The players i'd go for are Chris Gunter at RB or if possible Yedlin on loan from
Spurs who I think is a RB. My striker would be Bamford. I haven't thought about the midfielder but as long as he can cross, pass and tackle I wouldn't care. I think Chester and Elphick could be awesome together at this level and neither have the baggage or damage that our other players have.
Let's hope we give Rotherham a pounding - I'd take a 1-0 win with it being an own goal.

I like yedlin he's a great athlete and likes to bomb forward. fragile an naive at defending at times though. I think hunter would be a more solid signing to get back to the prem though.

Alan Stubbs (Rotherham boss) sorry just included this for any empty heads out there, this will be a lot more tactical than u think. He's a very good manager who sets his teams up well, he will go places. So don't be expecting an easy win. Ill take any sort of victory.
