As a side note, why are so many of you singing the praises of adama, he did nothing for virtually all season, got a fifty grand pay rise and got injured again! if he gets injured in the prem. where the refs are more protective, have a guess how he'll get on with being booted about left, right and centre in the league, he's an extravagence we can't afford, and on the dough he's on a week, you can't say there's any value for money there, and as for all you lot saying yeah but he's class, you can see that, how come no-one has come in with an offer to tempt us to sell-cause he's another darren anderton waiting to happen, we can't even loan him out because no-one will take the risk, if that don't give you a clue then you might as well say jeremy corbyn will make a great prime minister!

I'm going to keep banging the drum. Ayew wants to leave, say £40K a week, Richards and Lesscot who we all want shot of, £120K, Bentekes wages around £100K, you'd probs get £12M in fees for those 3 players (optimistic lol) possibly have to pay a loan fee for Benteke, £5M? or as they haven't paid the fee for him to us in full, some 'arrangement' can be made? At worst £40K a week better off in wages, £7M up in transfer fees received, a striker we can believe in, PR heaven for our money men, and maybe, back to the promised land in 1 season, not even a risk money wise. As for Benteke wanting to drop down a division, no harm in asking the question, throw bonuses at him if we go straight back up, still not a risk if it comes off. BELIEVE!

Ok, Benteke ain't joined anyone yet, why would us having him on loan with a view to buy be such a ridiculous suggestion? Looks like West Ham are going for Bacca, other clubs linked are Palace, Stoke and West Brom, why not come back where he 'feels the love'? A loan for Benteke is less of a risk than McCormack pushing 30 at £12M+, Bamford had 1 good season at Boro and done nothing since, there's a few 'could be's' that are being mentioned, on here we seem to be looking for a partner for Gestede, how about a 1 up front Benteke with a true No10 with him, Veretout perhaps? and a decent winger to get the crosses in that 9 times outta 10 he'll get on the end of? Believe people!

Just seeing petrovs name on that list blows my mind. The man is a legend and even if he's not in for every game he can only do good in the dressing room.
