Statement on Villa website says there will be 'changes' to club structure and will get people to do jobs on a voluntary basis instead. Why have they started penny-pinching again? Just when you thought it was going to get better.

So we are going to make staff redundant. The Board say "every effort" will be made to offer voluntary redundancy adding that "the objective is to secure a sound financial platform from which the club can rebuild”. Worth noting then that the £2m being spent on the re-branding of the badge exercise would pay 20 people £20k a year each for 5 years. I know where I would rather see the money spent.

With the right aquasitions I'm sure we will plus we are not as bad as Newcastle after they spent millions in January and financially and footballing wise I think we are a lot stronger than them so in my honest opinion yes.

Rumour has it we have a star striker of outstanding premier league top quality who has proved his worth at the highest level for many years (not my words but those who handle his affairs, allegedly! ) who feels very undervalued and not being appreciated for all he has and is doing for the club (i believe its called having a strop, or spitting the dummy out to coin a phrase) and has decided to flaunt his amazing ability where it will be appreciated away from villa park, you know, where all the top stars go, china or the middle east (not for the money though, no), having seen what he is capable of i reckon more likely la la land, because that's where i think he lives nowadays, so to him i say BOG OFF.
