have you ever wondered why our reserves and youth have been so impressive. but some how we either let the wrong players go. or they don't quite make the mark..
due to the continued changing in managers this means they like players to fit into their own playing system naturally....
my concern is what lambert is doing with picking workrate over natural proven talent... im frightened that again the wrong youngsters will be released or sold. as money talks more than ever this year.
spurs evolved off m jols finds.. they come good a few years later...
do need to give the manager time.. but is pl the correct man

Coutinho is very talented, but we need experience. Also, PL given four games to save his AVFC carrer. Southampton, WBA, Bradford and Newcastle all huge games, and PL needs 7 points and a trip to Wembley to fully secure his future for the time being.

This 10 millon talk has got to be rubbish its not 10 we need its a 100, any half decant midfielder from the prem is gonna cost 10 and need at least 3 midfielders, 3 defenders, If we don't get a win at the weekend we are in big trouble, and i think if we lose we souldnt stand for it anymore and stop going to villa park, hit randy where it hurts we pay the so called players wages we pay for the stadium to be keep right in its glory we are the heart of the club, if he has to pay the complete wage percentage from his own pocket he just might start to listen to use and what we need, I don't mind puting my hard earned money of a sat or sunday buying match day tickets if we lose and play well,, but that just hasnt happened for the last while now we are now the pushover team of the prem, some the blame has got lie with lambert he had money to spent in the summer he baught a lot of rubbish, all bar the beast and westwood, plus he let two half decant centre backs go, he has never told use the fans how long vlaar is out for, any orther club would know the following monring how long there best defender will out for, i just think this club is FAST becoming a joke, do we really need to be putting our hard earned money into it in these hard times[ RANT OVER]

Maybe the villa medical/trainning staff should be transfered, for the last three seasons the wafer thin squad has always been a problem because so many players get injured....the team would like ok if all the young guys playing at the moment, were the actual cover that lambert got them for. No team can cover there most experienced players been injured for a long period of time! oh and hutton and warnock suck so they might as well be injured too!

Any news on a defensive mid? We can go on about defenders all day but even if we signed excellent defenders it won't count for anything if we continue to be so lightweight in midfield!every back for needs some form of protection and i'm sure everybody would agree when i say none of our midfields, other than westwood perhaps, are capable of providing cover for the defence!

Mr paul lambert has taken second rate players at norwich and turned them into a premier league team damn you people who say more championship rubbish.. I have no doubt that championship players can cut it in the prem our problem is experience we have lost a leader in stiliyan and have yet to replace him and young kids just are just happy to play win or lose. I would take a punt on joey barton yeah hes a dick but he is undoubtably a good intelligent FOOTBALLER even if hes not intelligent off the field we need the tenasity and show the young guns how to cut it in the big time hopefully as a role model he would be mature about it.

Leave lambert alone
