You know what people i am having a rest from this site for a bit there's nothing to say really my football club keeps hurting me and i refuse to get angry or upset over them anymore. you all have your views which i respect but i must say no matter what we or our chairman says its all rubbish we need ACTION.

this club is horrible to watch not fun not exciting and if i am honest fed up of it i don't care if they don't go up or win the league but at least try and win some matches. every week villa lost, villa lost, villa lost don't matter who we play we lose. i bet you if king villa went in goal, flackie and mendex up front, me in midfield with a few others on here we would beat villa! Really sad face : (

Well boys thanks to u i stayed well away from the knife drawer last night. going to be a lot more positive from now on. especially now that rumours are that James Chester might be arriving on his golden chariot (FLIP ME) . Then another boot in the horlicks tonight again. The positivity has been sucked well out of me. The Thunderbird (RDM) should never have got the job. I know its early days but
I DO DESPAIR.

I thought that we might struggle and possibly go down, league one I thought may be our level, until tonite that is, now it's obvious we couldn't even compete in league 2. As previously posted (to medax disdain) doomsday is inevitable.

We did play the centre back pairing of 'can't defend' and 'won't defend' tonight. Baker and Elphick should be the main two. Shocking performance granted but these defeats happen to teams on form sometimes so it was hardly unexpected.
Way to early to be throwing in the towel and it's never a bad thing to be out of the cup with a season like this coming up. UTV.

I said the same and same happend honesty hurts mate they all say back the team and have faith well we have for years and they keep failing we need complete overhaul of squad I understand it takes time but we need grellish gone bacuna Westwood too richards gabby lescot too Gardner and ayew don't look interested gestede isn't good enough we need judge cm in jedinak cm in a decent striker too and a rb I'd buy Christie or de laet.

Most with a brain know that washing out the stench from the last few seasons is going to take a little time.
Getting on the players and the owners back before we've even played a home league game and with 3 weeks to go in the transfer window is as pointless as it is pathetic
Getting out of this division is going to take 3 things : Good management; financial support from the chairman and fervent support from the fans. Work out for yourself which one of those 3 you can most influence and remember the words of Gramsci :

One thing I will say is, tonight's game was shocking.
However, was a totally different team to the one that will play in the league. And this is only the second game.

To be honest I'm not often called an optimist. I am just trying, with a few others (i. e. Flackie) to bring a bit of balance to the debate
Fans have a right to be peed off after the Lerner reign and I share that frustration
My point is that this is a new start for us and it will take time; there is no getting away from that simple truth.

As fans we should recognise this and make some allowance for it. I'm getting sick and tired of the simplistic comments on here which seem to stem from the instant gratification culture we live in these days.

If you think I'm perpetually optimistic, I can live with that. But have a look at some of my posts in the Lambert/ Lerner years. Believe me mate, Jesus didn't always want me for a sunbeam.

Im watching the villa game richards is playing awfull . the players have no confidence if we can't beat luton then i'm aftaid we are going to stuggle in league . i don't like the formation we should play 4 4 2.we need so much quality in the squad because players are not good enough . we need about 6 first team class players. the team lacks quality.

I think he would stick with Baker and Elphick as they re forming a decent partnership, Tshibola for me has to start. i'd like to see a 4-4-2 with Green and Grealish on the wings and Ayew and Mccormack up top to see how they are together, then if we are winning at like 60 mins take Mccormack off and give Hepburn Murphy his chance.

Do not be fooled by a player who is willing to drop down a division for the love of VILLA.
Here is a reality check, Same old loan and lower market signings will continue with groans of how we just missed out on whoever because of whatever. Dr Tony has the same type of wealth as Lerner not nearly enough as the Villa need to push forward. Seem to keep missing out on the manager we needed at the time we needed him. And i think we have lost out on the best buyer of the club through desperation. Others will be bought up by the super ric h Chinese probably WBA.

And our owners wealth is unkown and from what i understand rich people don't spend much money our chairman is buying us players he just wants hardworking players! Also doñt worry about the albion or any other team now i will give you a fact now every premier league owner is nearly a billionare now days so we are all rich its about spending wise! What I will say, and would be keen to hear an answer on is. You refer to the same old loan and lower market signings, owners wealth etc, but then contradict yourself by saying why would a run of the mill player like Hernandez drop down from the premier league

Who do you suggest we buy then?

Because IMO it doesn't matter about the owners wealth as we are presently a championship team, the super stars of football will not come to play in the championship willingly .

Also again IMO I'm happy for RDM to build a team capable of gaining promotion back to the premier league . Then once we get there and if needed, rebuild that team with premier league quality .

That's the way it works doesn't is?
